The Nigerian Union of Allied Healthcare Professionals, which is the association body for all healthcare  professionals in the health sector, has called off its three-week long strike, while giving the Federal Government till July 31 to look into the issues that led to the strike.

Following a report by a physiotherapist on facebook group 'Physiotherapist' by a vigilant Physiotherapist who posted a picture of a quack physiotherapy clinic in Ejigbo lagos.

The Inspectorate department of the Board (MRTB) paid an unexpected visit to the said clinic “Temidayo Physothrapy” located at No. 10, Nurudeen Obe Street, Ejigbo, Lagos.

World still unprepared for global pandemic after Ebola, says Medical Charity

The global health system is unable to handle another mass epidemic like the Ebola outbreak in West Africa, Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), a Medical Charity Organisation has said.
In a statement by the Thomson Reuters Foundation, the organisation founded by medical practitioners, urged wealthy nations to develop coordinated response plans and drugs to fight neglected diseases.

Doctors urged to unite health professionals

A passionate plea has been made to medical doctors in the health sector to play a leadership role as head of the medical team with a view to ensuring harmony among all health workers and above all better medical outcomes in the management of patients. Also, the need to build effective public health infrastructure in the country has been identified as a major factor in ensuring effective disease prevention, diagnosis and management.
